Our life-planning can be enhanced by a number of enablements, each interesting and a real-find, each being portable like a 'shopping list' or 'swat card'.
For Life Refreshment purposes we propose beginning with a few progressive models, the first two of which are being developed by our First-Participator Johnessdee Miles from various researches in various libraries, and can be made portable in one's pocket for testing as we go and then for use in real-life.
The Sevenfold Domains model forWholesome Living, each domain needs to be participatively flexible and detailed, yet practically helpful on a daily basis. 1) physiologicals (2) emotionals (3) mind-functionals (4) environmentals (5) spirituals (6) Time-out sanctuary; and (7) (kept strictly separate) one's Job-factors }.
Developed by John Miles from ideas gleaned during research work or from Saturday-afternoons browsings in the local-library, these self-help guides are called respectively (1) John Miles's Palmate Life-Budgeting Model and (2) John Miles's 7-fold Holistic-Living Model.
(1) John Miles's Palmate Life Budgeting model: Hold up all five fingers of one hand, to show one's personal (i) energies (ii) timeframes (iii) things (iv) places (v) monies. One can spend either a mere minute giving oneself a five-snapshots check-up, or a whole hour inspecting oneself more thoroughly, sequentially, or in any order that one finds to work for one's situation.
(2) John Miles's 7-fold Holistic Living model' (the above Sevenfold Domains)] can also be carried; and also have a larger progressive record hung up beside one mirror at home, or as a more detailed strip-record on successive sheets across one's bedroom wall (a self-monitoring device used by Jungian psychology practitioners and students, at the Withymead Centre, Countess Wear nr Exeter, England, for keeping visible an ongoing-story of one's dreams).
We have recorded some sources' and authors' names; but we apologise where we risk falling unawarely into plagiarism we shall make an appropriate in-text note accordingly.

An important, sometimes also urgent, mind-preparation task is to become familiar with various contrasting meanings, and senses, of words, terms, contexts, and relationship-maps.
As we go along, we need to be singing off the same page, of the greater-life-opera score, often off the same line of today's songsheet; and we need to have made those words and music crystal clear in advance.
Our own Johnessdee says he once worked as a kitchen porter in a posh hotel in Torquay England, the town where thirty years earlier he had been born.
He says he quickly had to learn the prime-dictum for kitchen porters: 'wash up behind', meaning wash each plate and saucepan as soon as it's been used or immediately the chef drops it in the sink.
Often we must do that with our writing and reading i.e. check back through all the words and intimations to see that they are clear.
During later reading, this for overall impressions will mean looking out for the invisible-and-intuitional 'between the lines' implications and 'infer-ables', too.
Why go into such detail ?
Well, we do aspire to progressing in ability, and thereupon in empowerment herein, as truly responsible Cooperatively Participative Democracy citizens.

Take an instance from the House of Lords in current real life, about the House of Commons whose members had often not been completing their constituional governance task of examining, scrutinising every word, meaning, sense and part in every new Bill before sending it to the Lords.
The constitutional duty of the Lords is to examine the Bill, comment, confirm, or propose amendment to it; then to send it back to the Commons for further debate, scrutiny, government-executive and whole house of Commons majority approval. The Lords should not have to do House of Commons work.
Scrutiny is a prime task of the Commons, but every time this work is skimped or entirely skipped, the result is that for the sake of the whole Nation the Lords have to do both major and minor scrutiny tasks which are not the initial nor main job of the Lords but of the Commons.
In turn that means that we citizens need to greatly extend our democratic abilities so that given enough vital information we can prepare seriously constructive submissions, perform tasks of scrutiny, and work together in oour inescapable true and thorough role as citizens in a People-Upwards Democracy. Only then shall we be fir to carry empowerment: empowerment must follow enablement; and democratic enablement begins not with Competion and Dictation but with Cooperation and Participation.

And as we struggle to move forward, onward and upwards, could we actually initiate change to deceptive wordings that we have previously trustfully accepted from our Leaders ?
And ultimately outwards-stretching to our future colonisation upon other planets, how effectively-knowledgeable and experienced would we be ? How capable, and thereby worthy of empowerment, are we and shall we be, to elect and continually guide our Parliamentary representatives ?
Come to that how able and willing are our present Leaders and Governors to legislate and budget for fully-democratic enablement and participation-empowerment of us, The People below them' ?

A frail single elderly lady member reports using less than £4 per month water and also less than £4 per month electricity: but she is being grossly overcharged by SWW, and very unfairly almost insanely bullied by Utility Warehouse who are able and willing to do just that because of UK's loopholey legislation and regulation.
Nevertheless, this lady sends us her very best and heartfelt good wishes for our more sustain-worthy and healthily-happy progress, amidst population-wide problems and as participants in such Life-supporting and Governance-reforming movements as become permitted to take place !
Meanwhile, her intuitive solution to the loopholey Direct Debit mal-management and bullying is simple, of a 'win-win-win' character, and us standing up to higher scrutiny at economics and at governance mind-functional levels as well as in academic and religious reasoning persuasions:
"Start your account sufficiently in Credit (recommended 2 months amount in advance) and set up a monthly Standing Order appropriately-sized to keep that account always safely one month in credit." [Stipulation: Standing Order, not Direct Debit].

Begin imagining you are at a round-table, doing a friendly needs & hows problem-solving meeting with a few other people each equally participant. Record carefully what each says as you each try to uncover your own deepest individual real need.
Method III ! |

FIVE STEP METHOD III, FOR FRIENDLY ‘WIN-WIN-WIN’ COOPERATIVE PROBLEM-SOLVING AND
NEEDS & HOWS RECOGNITION. (With acknowledgement to Dr Thomas Gordon & other exponents e.g. Robert Bolton).
Introduction: Read through every part of the following lines before attempting to judge, or even think about, this
methodology: the guidance lines are of primary and ‘deal-breaking’ necessity.
Guidance (Rule) #1: No-one can come with any competitive or comparative advantage.
Each comes 'empty-handed' or with a ‘blank slate’. Each participates equally, patiently, non-competitively/non-‘leadingly’/non-invasively/non-pushily/non-manipulatively.
At the very outset participants might agree to a penultimate round, allowing improvement-suggestion to any
individual’s input; before confirming every input in the immediately-following final round.
Guidance #2: Move in one direction around the round-table; at each step many patient rounds will usually give much
better results than merely one, two or three hurried rounds. Each person gets equal non-transferrable time per round.
Guidance #3: Silence is absolutely Golden, whilst each individual may be descending deeper and deeper inside theirself, until they have finally arrived at, and formulated into words, their own latest-recognised real and important need.
Guidance #4: Keep going around at each step, until each participant has clearly stated in their own words what their ultimate need is. NB Everyone needs to include, at every step, advocacy-allowances for Persons-Not-Present Who-May-Be-Affected By The Meeting’s Decisions and Plenning and Implementation.
Guidance #5: Remember: NO interrupting, interpreting, altering; NO competing. Let each finish verbatimly at first. You might have agreed to a penultimate round allowing and even controlledly-encouraging improvement-suggestion to any individual’s input or part thereof; before confirming all Inputs in a final round.

Step 1 : Each participant submits wording or amendment to describe the Problem-Situation at first needing to be written up on a whiteboard or butcher’s-paper, and agreed by each participant before moving on. Keep going around until what your scribe has written up on the whiteboard is perfectly approved by each participant.
Step 2: Each participant suggests a solution they imagine might meet every-one’s need in the above-written situation. Once again no interrupting, no paraphrasing, no ‘improving’ the speaker’s wording.
Step 3: Go round and round, evaluating each ‘imagined’ solution; e.g. by a show of left-hand = 1 point, right-hand = 2 points, both hands = 3 points, no hands = 0 points.
Step 4: Select one of these shortlisted solutions; OR cobble-together an eclectic-solution made up of the best features from any of the solutions submitted in Step 2.
Step 5: Go round and round again, this time constructing firstly a Plan A, that will best honour and ‘win-win-win’ meet each participant’s (and absentee’s) most-important real-need. That settled, go round and round again constructing a Plan B, for what to do, for whatever could go wrong in Plan A ‘from the inside’, or sabotage it ‘from the outside’. Further back-up (contingency) plans could be decided upon at the end of this step.
Step 6: Will be the actual nitty-gritty 'on the ground', 'at the coal-face' and 'in amongst the grass-roots' action: the practical implementation of Plan A, and of its contingency back-up plan(s) where necessary.

Remember: ‘Win-Win-Win-Win-Win-Win-Win’ is a good mindframe, and from it can be included the most-important real-needs of other parties who are unable to be present in the meeting. Those actually present and participating will little doubt settle satisfactorily their needs and how best to satisfy them, but those present need also to include adequate advocacy for all absentees' needs and hows, which might be quite different from present-members' needs & hows.

The first 'event' is one human-being, a person, an individual; and that human-being's
(1) health or internal-life state (fit as a flea; low-profile low-impact, poorly, well-enough-to-take-refreshment (etc).
(2) habitat or external-situation (in bed, answering the phone or door, paid-all-the-bills, late for work, need a bath).
The second 'event' is possibly two-fold, externally to the human-being:
(3) the Lifesupports-environment (e.g. one's house, one's garden, the nearest shopping-centre)
(4) the plural Human-environment (possibly viewable in concentric-circles, 'coming-in' from nearby people & from very-distant
people or 'markets'; and 'going-out' from the one-person to one or more of the concentric-peoples. |
