Welcome to New York Ballet's regularly televised basic workouts, on SKY channel 275 'Body In Balance'.
Today Sunday I see they have updated a warm-up half-hour to include three different warm-up sequences, and included some top-ranking ballet clips.
The point ?
Easy.
Since it works to have in mind 'Seeing is Believing', and works equally well to think 'Believe it and you'll begin to see it', I tried watching the NY Ballet's updated half-hour today.
In the broader spirit of body-mind-spirit, and with the additional thought that since imagination is far more powerful than will (Ronald Shone in Creative Visualisation) and may include 'touch-isation, feeling-isation, stretch-isation, hearing-isation' and so forth, I found myself 'resonating' with the NY ballet movements but not copying them. Instead I could lie on my bed and find more achievably comfortable ways of moving myself.
Trying to match the extensiveness, steady control and speed of professionals has become so clearly "not true to myself" that at 82 years of age it is not too late to wake up, to 'mend', and to confess-in-public ('sharing').
